OGL Steampunk... Amazon cancelled my order...

I understand if this is an Amazon thing, but it's never happened to me before... and I was kinda ticked, especially since it was a good deal, and I was really looking forward to the book. Thought the mongoose people should see...

So.... worst case scenario, I get five bucks out of this.. Usually when Amazon has a delay on something, they email you and ask you if you want to keep the order active. This time I had no choice... it also caused me to lose the free shipping on the order AND they didn't give me time to cancel the rest of it so I could order it with something else... Fortunately, they're refunding me the shipping fee AND giving the 5 bucks..

Hopefully the book is still coming soon.. I can't wait..

The book wil be out in JUly. I think maybe Amazon ha dit down for May and since it went past their window they nixed it. Happens in comics also.

See.. the problem is that in all the years I've ordered through Amazon, I've never had a problem with an item being cancelled like that. All the time, I get an email saying "This merchandise is going to take longer than originally expected, please give us your okay to keep the order open" blah blah blah. I'm patient. I have no problem waiting (in fact, I just GOT one of those e-mails on another book I ordered), but to actually CANCEL it? Maybe it's possible that amazon's not going to carry it for whatever reason... I dunno. Either way, I still get five bucks out of the deal. Hopefully they reinstate it when it's released.
