NPC Data

How do you write up npc data? I'm talking about the 'helpers', the retainers, the ones that go around with the party to offer them extra help. As opposed to npcs that work behind the tavern bar so to speak.

I'm looking for a format that would fit nicely on an index card. What data would be required? What could be left out?

Something a little larger than my character cards? I guess it needs space for spells, and they are a bit too small to write on effectively unless you have good writing and a fine pen. I'll do a slightly larger one.

I did up a few to use during my games and you are welcome to make use of them if you find them useful.

there is a single 5x3, a set of 3 on a letter sized sheet (run it through your printer on heavy stock and cut it down) and an example of how it looks printed out.

I think I've got my CS and character journals I use for my campaign in this folder as well.

I don't have them in either word or form fillable format, but I'll have a look at the pdf in the next day or so and see if I can make you a form fillable one.

I did these up in Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign, afraid that doesn't allow for exporting to Word to the best of my knowledge.

I'll post on here as soon as I get an opportunity to make a form fillable one (prolly be a simpler solution than how I currently make them one set at a time in Illustrator )
