I do apologise for the non-RPG post, but I think this will interest you just the same.

I'm building a Nort trooper costume, from the Rogue Trooper series. It'll be built out of mostly scavenged materials, apart from the hessian for the hood, a balaclava underneath to prevent the hessian scratching my face, and the tan/olive jumpsuit underneath. Finishing details (fibreglass, etc) will be bought too, but I'm looking for a total budget in the under-£50 region.

The year before last I built an Imperial Guard Veteran Sergeant (with storm-bolter rifle built around of a dead Steyr BB gun and hand-sewn camo-coak).

I'm in Bristol, the UK so can any of you suggest places to source hard-to-find parts, such as the tubing for the mask and the lenses for the eyes?

Thanks in advance!

Baz. Probably insane!

Not sure if I can hellp you. Perhaps you should visit a garge sale or rubbish dump.

You may be able to buy stuff from a army disposal or check out ebay.

I'm pretty sure the community over 2000AD online would be very intersted in your progress.

Ow bis?

Scrapstores - recycling place for art and crafts material and general old junk. Can be found in St werberghs, Bristol, next to the organic food shop on the No.5 route.
