Nial / WS Fighter

It's doubtful, the Whitestar was not designed with the carrying of a WS fighter in mind. their is nothing in the literature to suggest that these fighters can be swapped out.

True, but you think they could.

My adversary does it each time! but when I look at the levels of each vessel I see that Nial is Patrol and the WSF skirmish!

I would say it was a size issue, the WS fighter is probably much bigger, and won't fit into a whitestar, but it's all speculation as far as I know; their was never a WS fighter in B5 that I recall

I think you would be fully justified in telling him no. (although from personal experiance, I think the nial is better)

Agreed. There is no option ever described allowing you to do this - I have no problem with the concept of a white star carrying white star fighters (with a little rebuilding work - I seem to remember the nials had to exit one by one when lennier is training in them) - but when priority points comes into play you shouldn't be able to do it for free......

If he's determined to do it a patrol point each sounds about right.

yeah, essentially, he is upgrading to a higher priority ship for nothing, which is pretty unsporting, the Centaurio have to pay to do that, so if he insists (even though the rules don't allow it at all) make him pay a patrol point per conversion.

You cannot upgrade unless it specifically says so.

Centauri have to pay to upgrade to Rutarians.
Minbari cannot upgrade flyers.
You can't swap starfuries for Nials in other ISA ships.
Raiders have to pay for Delta V2s.
