Sure, but with one player constantly getting new ships, it sounds more like an "Invasion" game of unreal tournament...

Well its there to be tweaked. Remember though. Player 1, can only repair crits, and unless he is using some of the diverse technologies he is going to be whittled down.

I think you could have some serious fun with a PC multiplayer version. Imagine speaking to red leader over voice comms...

You can do that on x-wing alliance, and run a voip battle coms programme on the side

I'm still mourning the loss of the quality space flight sim games myself. Wing commander and X-wing(well Tie Fighter) are what got my into PC gaming into the first place
