Only downside/mix feelings part of the announcement was that Starship Troopers was being take from a d20 system and pushed along another route. Wasn't personally best pleased with that part as there was absolutely nothing wrong with it as it was. Not to mention the undoubted forthcoming outcry of people who had SST books who now discover thier game is not going to be expanded any further unless they buy a whole new set of rulebooks for a different SSt sytem...grr as a gamer that sort of malarky is a pet hate.

Same thought I had Neo, not overly happy at that, and don't even think about bringing about B5 Traveller Edition, I will be most miffed.

At least there are no promises (as yet) to give conversion stats for the two versions, not that they've really followed through on that for B5 anyway.

I'm concerned about Traveller Starship Troopers and would hate B5 Traveller. And I'm also wondering is RuneQuestSpace still in the works or was that a red herring?

I like to demonstrated RPGs, but the variety is getting worrisome.

Why? It's an era with a pretty good sized fan-base.

Not bagging it per se, but we had some pretty diabolical games during that era lol with a GM who had Borg on the brain i think.. just some cheddary reminiscing (hence the LOL in the original comment)
