New Narn War and Armageddon ships

Where are they then? :(

I thin the moulds collapsed or something, Matt also mentioned they were trying some new sculptors, so they might be undergoing a complete re-design. Which the G'Vrahn really needs!

I actually quite LIKE the new Narn designs, I just feel they were a bit (okay ALOT) overpriced. And the KaBintak suffers a bit from 'existing model with some bits stuck on it' syndrome. Then again you could say the same for the Nova and the Omega (though those are both canon designs so that argument wouldnt really hold much water imho)

As a Player I will like if Matt tell to the comunity what happens with those models. If he tell us the true, we will understand.

They were wiped out by a Shadows agent while still in the spacedocks...(translation: I sneaked into the factory and broke all the moulds with a sledgehammer  )

That didn't seem to stop the Troligan from being made!!!

Well - actually it's because of that....it was a really nice ship until Hush hit it on the backswing with a lump hammer by accident.

Really I only had three complaints about the Narn ships. One applied to both and the other two were unique to their ships.

The commen complaint was "Too big". Nothing should be bigger than a Bin'Tak in my opinion because we need space to move our ships around. Actually I'd like them a bit smaller than the Bin'Tak but I'm using the Bin'Tak and Primus as examples of the max size I can live with on my ships.

The Ka'Bin'Tak while nice looking suffered from same ship with new spikey bits syndrome. While I can accept that to a degree I'd have liked a little bit more uniqueness to it. Well I also don't like it's game stats(it's kind of a crappy ship for being Armageddon) but that's a different issue than appearance.

The G'Vrahn I mostly didn't like that lump on top of it(the bridge? No idea). Redesign that and make the ship smaller and I could see myself buying two of them.

"Kind of a crappy ship for armageddon"?!?!?

The Ka'Bin'Tak, statwise is one of the few actually GOOD Armageddon ships! (Agree completelyl about the 'same ship with extra spikey bits' syndrome (same problem I have with the Nemesis (though the Nemesis really IS poo as well)

The Ka'Bin'Tak can stand up to most other Armageddon ships in the game at the moment and is way WAY better than the Nemesis, or the Neroon

but then the Bin Tak is better than the nemesis or neroon. The KaBinTak got the crew and damage increases, and carrier, but someone forgot to upgrade it's guns all that much!

I would prefer two of the old ones allowing me to take 2 types of mines.

Where does it say the new ones cant use the variable round?

they only have one tube, they fire one type (and short charge, not that thats much use now!!)
It doesn't say anywhere in the rules that you can now chop and change (which I think you should be able too) It was mentioned at release, I seem to recall the playtesters saying it wasn't swapable :-(
