NEW FEATS

Based on Freebooter's Fortune (Pirate Isles, p. 8 )

Improved Freebooter's Fortune
Prerequisites: Freebooter's Fortune, must be Zingaran, 4th level PIRATE class or higher.
Benefits: Penalty to re-roll of Swim, Profession (sailor) AND Use Rope, Survival (maritime) reduced to -2. If you fail this check you fail the skill roll.


Greater Freebooter's Fortune
Prerequisites: Freebooter's Fortune, Improved Freebooter's Fortune, must be Zingaran, 8th level PIRATE class or higher.
Benefits: Penalty to re-roll of Swim, Profession (sailor) AND Use Rope, Knowledge (the Open Main), Survival (maritime), Knowledge (geography, maritime), Knowledge (arcana, the Deep) reduced to -1. If you fail this check you may roll one last time but at a -4 penalty. If you fail the last check you fail the skill roll.
 
i think being a pirate of some level should also come into play in the prereqs, being a land based zingaran alone couldn't help improving the feat.
 
those are some awesome feats, did they include any more based of argossean dreamer?

if your a primarily land based zingaran then you most likely would not have taken freebooters fortune and be completely out of your element. on the other hand as it is now just being total character level it allows marines (soldier/pirate) too take the feats aswell.

You're right! Being a pirate should be another prereq. Good call.
The original feat in PI doesn't mention the pirate class, but is assumed because of the mention of Profession (sailor), of course.

Improved Sleep Mastery

Prerequisites: Wis 16, Con 16, Sleep Mastery [118, AE; 178 CRp]
Benefits: You need only sleep for 2 hours a night to awaken fully rested. Up to twice per week, you may spend two full nights without any sleep, with no penalties, so long as you get at least six hours of sleep the following night. In addition, you may make Listen checks at a one-time +2 bonus if any untoward sounds occur as you sleep; if you succeed at such a Listen check, you may become fully awake as a free action. Finally, you gain a +4 bonus on all saving throws against spells, supernatural effects, drugs and poisons that would cause you to sleep or prevent you from waking.

Prerequisites: Wis 18, Con 18, Sleep Mastery, Improved Sleep Mastery
Benefits: You need only sleep for 90 minutes a night to awaken fully rested. Up to three times per week, you may spend three full nights without any sleep, with no penalties, so long as you get at least four hours of sleep the following night. In addition, you may make Listen checks at a one-time +4 bonus if any untoward sounds occur as you sleep; if you succeed at such a Listen check, you may become fully awake as a free action. Finally, you gain a +6 bonus on all saving throws against spells, supernatural effects, drugs and poisons that would cause you to sleep or prevent you from waking.

(a.k.a. "Sleep? What's that?" )

Prerequisites: Wis 20, Con 20, Sleep Mastery, Improved Sleep Mastery, Greater Sleep Mastery, Endurance, an entire bottle of No-Snooz(TM) pills.
Benefits: You need only sleep for 5 consecutive minutes a day to awaken fully rested. Up to six times per week, you may spend six full nights without any sleep, with only a -4 penalty to all rolls, so long as you get at least twenty-four consecutive hours of sleep per week. In addition, you may make Listen checks at a one-time +6 bonus if any untoward sounds occur as you sleep; if you succeed at such a Listen check, you may become fully awake as a free action. Finally, you gain a +8 bonus on all saving throws against spells, supernatural effects, drugs and poisons that would cause you to sleep or prevent you from waking.
