New Editor

Hi guys.

Just letting you know that I am taking over as editor for S&P starting with the April issue so feel free to contact me with any submission ideas or with things that you would like to see in the future etc. I promise that I don't bite!

holy frack...... As Starbuck would say, good luck Charlie, hope you like the Earth Minbari War Update, it has been proof read by Bryan Steele.

I sure hope the size of the mag is going up, I don't want to see less content of one or the other because they are one mag now.

Well, I have sent a fair amount of submissions in over the past eight months, and not even half have been used. I hope to have a few more ideas soon, though I am leaning more toward the RPG side this time.

Why are they being rejoined? I much preferred keeping them separate.

Less staff, less magazines, less work needed to be done.

Combining them into one larger magazine does not change the personnel requirement, it simply makes it a larger download, and makes it more difficult for people to sort through for the articles they want.

For those on dialup it may be the end of downloading S&P, its bad enough waiting for a single wargame issue, but I may not bother with a double size one, half of which I will never read

It won't be double the size - there won't be two cover pages, or two catalogues at the back! And presumably, only one set of ads.

Hi guys. Due to obvious reasons, this month's issue will be large approx 120-130 pages. As of next month this will be cut down to less than 100

Charlie,

Regarding submissions, do they still go to the clonghurst address? I sent one there, addressed to Matt Sprange, perhaps I was incorrect in so doing.

Also, might you indicate any sort of time frame in which submissions are responded to? I know it's a busy process, I just wanted an inkling of an idea.

Thank you very much.

-Chris
