Need A Dead Race From Traveller Canon

Does anyone know of any dead/dying races, preferably humanoid, from Traveller canon?

The only one that comes to mind is former population from Sabmiqys.

Need this for a campaign I am running.

Not humanoid, but the original cymbelines from Signal GK.

On topic - the race that constructed the Shadows pyramids spring to mind.

In my own campaign, the enigmatic race that built those pyramids pre-dates the Ancients. I've hinted that the pyramids are much older that originally surmised, dating back to an era before the rise of the Ancients when unknown sentient species dominated known space. I've also hinted that every 25-30 million years, SOMETHING wipes out all of the alien species that dominate this region of the galaxy - I've left it entirely open-ended what this threat might be, hinting that it could be a natural phenomena or something more sinister. I know this isn't canon, but it's fun and fits in well with classic SF tropes.

To find other races I would suggest pulling up the T5 data found on travellermap.com . When I dumped the data into my databases and extracted the races out of the comments, I found 120+ distinct races. But it does not distinguish between the dead ones and live ones. I found that out comparing the listings of races with the dead races found in MgT book Deneb Sector. Also of use for location might be the "Dieback worlds" (Remark Code Di). The code there is being used for regressed or dead civilzations.

1. Canon includes 60-odd extinct branches of Humanity but does not name them. There might be even more than that given the accepted lore that some of the Ancients were killed by rubbling the planet they were on, leaving no traces. You could probably estimate that 20-40 of those survived long enough after the Ancients War to redevelop culture.

2. There are very few other dead races in Canon that are actually described. At all.

3. Canon is for writers. Referees are not so bound.
