Is the Bin Tak's heavy laser cannon really only 25"?
The G'Quan's is 30"

Yes it is really 25".

yup it is. and the Bin Tak can barely manage to even cover that distance in a movement round!
the Tourney G'Quan was also only 25" but gained a dice for it's troubles

Same reason the Tinashi's Fusion Cannons are twin-linked, but the Veshatan's are not. Weapon name has no relation to weapon's actual stats or traits (unless its an e-mine or Dilgar).

We change it to 30" as a house rule - There's nothing stopping you doing that, just remember its 25" during tourney's!

Even at 25" the Bin'Tak remains one of the best War level ships out there. It doesn't need a 30" main laser.
