Nameing stars in a Big Campaign

Hi me and some friends want to try the big campaign system. for that i need a refernze of the babylon 5 system or better a ready to use map. where all the stars are listed and we only need to creat the different star systems.

or do you just think of names and use them or do you use the original names?

There's a map of the major stars in the Earth-Minbari war books, i beleive... Basically, the campaign system seems to focus on one or two systems, so you don't need many star names.

Wolf 359 is a real system you know....

Also if you use the system map from Elite 2 all the 'nearby' systems to Sol were also real.

Lastly as noted in the EM War book cover theres a map of the B5 Galaxy (it's also in the B5 RPG book I think and is also in the B5Wars rules compendium if you happen to have it)

here's a JPG of the map from the E-M war book:

It was redesigned for the second edition RPG but I don't think the names, positions or affiliations of the stars have changed.

Also, Rich Bax's PDF has a map in of the galaxy at the time of the Dilgar war, it looks likethe old B5 rpg map modified to me, but very useful.

My friends and I have thought of a campaign in the big official map.
Works like a big campaign but with one target per system (It would be gargantuan any other way).

We can use the map with random starting points or the stated starting points (Centauri, EA, Narn and Minbari main planets are all somehow prepared for this, but we don´t know what to do with shadows and Drakh).

Do you think it´ll work?

In that case you would´t need names for they are already written. And are fully flavouring.
Any other way I would take a small part of that map. If it´s the first time I would take just the example from the basic rulebook.
