Mystara D&D Setting

Well this setting has been floating around as the Old D&D setting, but has not had much action of late.

There is a web community updating it, but it could do with a few books

I would prefer if we can keep Mystara pure of the nightmare that is 3.X

Actually it runs a lot smoother in D&D 3 or 3.5 than it ever did under Old D&D and Advanced D&D...

All the concepts just work well with it...

I am currently running the wrath of the Immortals adventure, using the book of Immortals and it just fits well as part of that advancement. The OD&D version of immortality was too hard to run as part of a campaign.

Basically all the d20 books released so far fit well in the setting with little tweaking.

I agree AD&D was a piss poor fit for Mystara, but oD&D is a perfect fit for it. With 3.x the "noise to signal" ratio is far too high to be usefull, IMO.
