My New Terrain Table.

Given that there is a 7 ft pool table in our living room, I decided that it would be the best for me to set up a game table. Of course, I can't really use the pool table itself for gaming. Therefore, I hit upon the idea of devising a cover for the table to make it suitable for wargaming. With the help of my amateur carpenter mother, we came up with the following:

I'm sewing up a sea mat for a VaS that should fit nicely.

Well, thoughts?
 
At the risk of sounding like a Philistine it is the best use for a pool table I can think of that does not involve a young lady.

Seriously though the table will give you a nice solid base, I have seen far too many wibbley-wobbly wargaming tables.
