My LAMI and EXOs

Here's a couple of small pics of some of my EXOs and one of my LAMI - I know they're not the best pictures ever but I'd appreciate any opinions on them - especially on the LAMI!

Nice. I like the "untraditional" take on the LAMI and the overall colors for the Exos and LAMI. I also like the use of backdrops for your pix!

Nice colours, I had relatives in the South Welch Borderers.
Are you're bugs gonna have cow-skin style carapaces and brown fleshy bits? :P

I must admit I had thought about it, yes - and the 'horns of the buffalo' tactics seems quite apt for those pesky bugs too! I doubt I will though, I think the bizarre paint job on the LAMIs is pushing it far enough. :D I wasn't sure it was a sensible colour scheme, but then I figured fighting the bugs, who cares - it's not as if they 'see' the same way anyhow, so why not?

As it happens, all my troopers are from the 24th Regiment of Foot (the EXOs have the 'Union Jack' British flag on them, and '24th' markings as well, but the pics don't show the detail), and 'Men of Harlech' is their recall music.

And thanks to everyone for the kind comments, I'll post some more pics when I've painted more figures!

Nicely done, timpollard. As to the colors (ok, it's colours, colours  ) since the movie battle of Whiskey Outpost was patterned directly after that of Rourke's Drift maybe timpollard's is more of an accurised version of battle dress than the movie was, hmm? If he mixed some Skinnie Warchiefs in with his Arachnid forces you'd even have a few "spears" sailing over the walls, heh.
