Mantis: Looks really nice. Exactly like a Mantis should look like. Great work!

Burrower: All right, this is the 08/15 colour sheme but it's okay

King Tanker: Wow what a colour sheme! :shock:
Though it isn't very detailed (at least it doesn't seem so to me) the appearance is impressive.

I'm not sure what 08/15 means though?

The Tanker is painted as if its carapace is like a tropical beetle, the colour scheme doesnt leave a lot of room for detail but is quite striking. I wasnt a fan of the grey colour on the box.

08/15 means "nothing special" or "the norm" here in germany.

The Phrase derives of (is that the correct word?) the german MG08, especially the 08/15 variant. As it was a pretty standard wepaon, using standarised parts and soldiers were trained so much with the weapon that they coudln't stan it anymore. Thus anything unpleasantly standard and mediocre became a "08/15" in german ^^

so yeah, anybody does this scheme, but its well done, the tanker though is absolutely cool, reminds me of some real insects

thanks for the explanation, yeah i just copied the box on that one. I suppose its like someone showing a bog standard Ultramarine, no ones gonna look twice.

Glad you like the Tanker, was a bit of a gamble painting it like that.

I think the Mantis looks great, hopefully I will get to feed it to my Cougars

I like the Burrower, I would give it an 8 or 9 out of ten, but an not really a fan of the model, I always thought it looked like a Dune reject.

As for the King Tanker, looks very striking
