Most detailed 28mm modern mini I've seen -

Just randomly came across this whilst dicking around the web for modern mini troops for use with BFE -

Never heard of this company before and their last update was back in 2005.

The figure is one of the best historicals I have seen reminds me of Perry miniatures samurai. I will admit that a lot of the detail is over scale fro a 28mm figure more something I would expect on a 54mm one or larger but use the right mould compound and the right alloy and I don’t see most of it not reproducing in the final casting.

The Rod from the barrel to base suggests that it’s been sculpted by some one who knows about casting which is a good sign. I would appreciate it if a site link was posted for this as I would be interested in there other stuff.

Mongoose, I would GIVE UP Warhammer 40k if you made BFE miniatures like this!

Well, I'm not stopping playing 40k or Fantasy and selling off all my armies, but I certainly don't intend to be spending more money on those games when there are these wonderful Evolution games coming out that my poor wife doesn't have to paint any miniatures for!!

ok as i keep saying bf evo isnt 28mm

here are some pics of some resign masters that didnt quite cut the grde on detail for mongoose. with SST minis next to them for scale comparison.

Tanks aren;t exactly massive things vertically. There's a couple of WW2 jobs on the Portsmouth seafront which aren't any much taller than me and I think most modern ones are pretty low-slung, possibly smaller.

Not stood next to a modern tank since I was a good 2' smaller than now but still...

im 6 foot and the turret ring is approximatly the height of my shoulders, although the tank was slightly emersed into the mud.

What else is new regarding the heights of tanks? I've been next to one in a war museum, uh it was canadian (I know that much)

Anyhoo, hurry up BFE, I want minis :)
