Monthly Painting Challenge - anyone interested?

I post on 40KOnline (boo, hiss, I know) and over on their Painting board, they've been running a thread each month for about a year now. The idea is basically that at the start of the month, you make a painting vow, e.g. "I vow to paint a squad of 10 space marines", and you must then complete it by the end of the month. You have 10 days to make or alter vows before they lock. WIP pictures are very much encouraged, and those who complete their vows are named and praised at the end of the month - those who don't are named and shamed! Then it all rolls over and starts again.

The aim is just to get people to paint stuff they've got that isn't yet painted, and for people to see others' miniatures and painting techniques. I've found it pretty good on both counts.

If I administered such a thread, would anyone be interested? I don't want to bother if no one's going to take part but I think it would be fun. We could include things like a nominal prize for best painted model of the month, most models painted or things like that. Vows can be as small as you like (a single MI trooper or something) - it's better to make a small vow and complete it, than a huge one and not finish on time.

Anyone up for it?

(Just for reference, the current 40KOnline painting challenge thread is here.)
