The word on the slab is that the forthcoming Signs and Portents 91 is to include the Judge Dredd scenario Monkey Business - [blurb] A gang of juves are causing trouble (don't they always). Now PSU has followed them into a vid arcade and the Judges need to find and arrest the troublemakers.

Monkey Business is more of an extended encounter than a scenario.

These 'encounters' are perfect for slotting into an existing campaign as a diversion for players. Keep 'em comin'! :D

Makes me think of the wonderful one-off story "Block Court", where Dredd has to handle a small-claims court... and his brains start to turn to cheese.

"Any block wars? I can postpone things here, Control."
"Negative Dredd. It's all quiet out there."
"Any sign of Judge Death or something?"

It's true that all JD adventure pieces I've had printed todate are 'one shots'. However, I have submitted a lengthier Dredd piece that is a fuller investigation/scenario.

Signs & Portents 91 is now available for free download and contains the Judge Dredd short encounter entitled Monkey Business penned (yet again!) by none other than John White.

A revised draft did not make print. Only significant change was revised version of Perp Desperation modifiers.
Following are ammended values
Dwight Lance 0
'Junks' 0
'Gators' -2
Juves 0
Stubbs 0
Mico -6
Scarletti and Umbada -4

I hope Mico and Dwight survive in at least some of the games they might appear in.
