Mongoose at Warfare

Members of the Mongoose Infantry demonstration team will be attending the Warfare show at Reading on the 18th & 19th of November.

On Saturday both A Call to Arms and Starship Troopers will be demonstrated, whilst on Sunday Gangs of Mega-City One will be making an appearance alongside SST.

I am very interested in trying the Shadows before I buy a box set. How long is a demo game? How many ships? A couple of RAID?

The thing about these shows is there is always so much to see and so little time...

I may drop by on Sunday and say hello...

Though for some reason I can't help thinking approaching people at a wargames show and asking 'Hello are you Reborn?' is going to get a lot of strange and possibly terrified looks!

The thing about these shows is there is always so much to see and so little time...

Shadows don't make for perfect demo games owing to all the special traits etc. they have. Also the fact that the Shadow ship is Armageddon level makes it kind of hard to kill. I'd be willing to do one with a Hunter or a couple of Scouts, though. But I don't think either Nick or I have models available, so it would have to be counters, which is a bit of a cop out.
