I perpetrated most of the Star Wars stats; the thread no longer exists, but the stats do if you want them back.
They were based on West End Games' take, which most of the Warsies seem to loathe with a passion. Funny thing, that; most of the extreme Star Trek fans seem to be interested in dressing up like the federation- the majority of the Star Wars fans who take it that far go pro- Imperial. One of the fan groups were so dedicated, they actually got written into the EU novels- the 501st (Vader's Fist) Stormtrooper Legion actually exist.
West End gets a lot of dislike because of it's flat out pro- Rebel bias, at least I reckon that's the reason. It would still be necessary to base anything on their details, I think- there just isn't enough information to go with the higher- canon shiplist from the Star Wars Technical Commentaries, or for that matter the super- abstracted mechanics of the WoTC system.
Speaking of SWTC- Lucas is no more a physicist or engineer than Straczynski or Roddenberry are and were, but he has some on his side. If I did go for the Saxton take on numbers, sizes, power and energy, I think I would have to put an Imperator's stats somewhere at or beyond Ancient PL. Severe scaling down, or simply declaring them not comparable, would be necessary.
