I thought I saw something out there converting some of the real world weapons of today into Traveller terms. Does anyone else know if this is out there and where I can find it?

I haven't found any actual conversions.

With the many weapons in CSC you can just look up the modern equivalent, and use the weight, length, and magazine size of the actual weapon while using the damage and ROF of the CSC weapon.

For example: The Assault Rifle on page 75 of the CSC is the equivalent of a 5.56mm assault rifle. If you need a Steyr AUG for your game it would mass 3.6kg, be .79m long, hold 30 shots, and do 3d6 damage.
