Misjump result: Starship gets "flipped"

Since jump space involves a higher dimension, lets say there is a misjump and the starship seems to appear where it was supposed to, but the crew notices something wrong. The stars are a mirror images of that shown in the charts, the planet they are approaching has all the continents backwards. The docking mechanism would fit with the orbital starport, they are forced to land on the planet's surface, they open the doors and step outside, all the signs are in mirror print, the letters and words are backwards. Starport offical inspects the starship, he notices that all the labels on all the controls are written backwards to him, the logbooks are to him similarly written in mirror writing. A doctor examines the crew members a little while later, he notices the organs are all reversed, the DNA and all the organic molecules in the crew members bodies are the mirror image of what they are supposed to be. What happens next?

Survival of the crew depends on what cargo the starship was carrying, it it was seeds and plants, they'd have a chance! They's need to find a planet to live on where they can grow those plants, and hopefully there are rats and other vermin on the starship which they can eat for protein!

Polarity is not reversed.
Nor are the charges on elementary particles, but that is another misjump result. the starship appears either reverse or normal but as antimatter! The people in that starship are in a tough spot, there is literally no place for them to go, but they can try misjumping again if they can find enough antihydrogen! Perhaps a larger matter ship could try misjumping the antimatter ship back into matter, if it could fit it within its cargo hold without making contact. Of course then the larger ship would come back made out of antimatter if this was successful. I can't imagine the probability of doing this twice would be very high, as there would be economic incentive to do it on purpose if it were easy to accomplish!

Or they encounter their counterparts - and they're all wearing beards.

What? It was inevitable someone would bring up that Star Trek episode ...

There's no way they're going to find the quantity of antihydrogen required in the remaining time they could survive. They'd have to stay well, well away from any planets with an atmosphere, or any significant density of solar wind or the gamma radiation from particles contacting the hull will give them fatal doses or radiation, while also degrading the ship's systems.

If they could find someone with large quantities of antihydrogen available, it would be contained within vessels made of regular matter, while their own fuel hoses and connectors are antimatter. How could they transfer it to their own fuel tanks?

They may not notice their anti-matter state untill it's way too late though. At first, the only clue will be mysteriously increasing intensities of ambient gamma radiation if they approach a planet with an atmosphere. If they're approaching at any speed, the time it takes to notice the proble, figure out it's cause and turn around or change course are unlikely to be enough to avoid fatal exposure.

If they actualy approach another ship or station or body of any kind, even a single dust speck from it hitting them (or from them hitting it) will at least blow a hole in the hull. The resulting fragmentation will soon imact the other ship, and everybody is history.

This was done a bit in the 2300 Bayern module.

A character met the ET's there and endured a "dimensional flip" the biggest problem was that the "handedness" of the characters proteins were flipped (I am not into Organic Chemistry). Would have to have all food synthesized from now on to live as normal food would not work...
