Miscast Pieces?? Where to find replacements/exchanges?

So I picked up around 150.00 USD of Babylon 5 product...rulebook, and a Narn Regime fleet box. Unfortuanately, when I cracked open the Narn boxed set, I found that my 4 G'Quan Cruisers all have large 'lumps' of pewter where there front sections and engines should be, and when I went to pick up the two wings for T'Loth Assault cruiser, the darn think literallly came apart in my hands, upon closer inspection the metal appears to be brittle.

I'm not upset, well maybe a little (was hoping to get these bad boys together to game with before the holidays) I've been gaming long enough to know this stuff happens. My main question is....

Where do I direct questions concerning replacements parts, and what's teh turn around on such a request?

Mongoose are usually very good at fixing such problems

try e mailing clonghurst@mongoosepublishing.com

Chris is very good at sorting out problems

Thanks, got a response from Ted Chang.

Does anyone know what the average turnaround on these things are? After reading a few posts regarding the Drakh models and a few others...I'm looking at about a 3 month turn around. Does this sound right? If this is the case I'm about to consider the fleet box a loss and look for another game. I'm a little turned off to tell ya the truth, my first purchase and this is what I get :( A box of poorly cast ships and the hope that they may be replaced before St. Patties day.

PLEASE someone give me some good news!!!

To be honest, it depends on what figure you had issues with. The Drahk are slow due to serious problems with the molds collapsing. I would imagine you should have your parts within a couple of weeks or so.

Woohoo some good news. Well that's comforting at least. I was told that it appears the box I bought was old, and a result of the models were old. So I'm geussing this problem was hopefully brought to their attention some time ago, and it's already been fixed.

I have found that Mongoose is on top of things when it comes to their customer service. I had some items replaced and one of my gamers had some things fixed.

Mongoose is top notch.
