Hey, what happened with the Conan miniature game? Is it still on?

(related: Seems cool fantasy is being brought to the forefront - Testor's just announced their Game of Thrones minis!)

The last I heard was that the project was put on hold for awhile (as long as a year?). There was an excellent post that summarized it, just cannot find it. I did Just realize that the forum is gone though. Hmmm.....

Don't look good mates - Matt didn't even mention the Age of Conan miniatures game in his annual State of Mongoose post where he traditionally details the upcomming years big releases. No mention of the AoC game - son of a b&^%$^!

I sure hope I'm wrong!!!

I hope that it is just a matter of holding off untill additional work is done on either the rules or the miniatures.
Every since this game was first mentioned I've been waiting for its release. Still, I would rather wait till they got everything perfect, or as close as can be, then get a game that was filled with flaws and limited release of minis.

I agree - I hope they are just trying to get it right. I'm afraid that the pre-painted process hasn't worked to their level of quality and they may scrape the idea.

Doesn't the new modern day war game they're doing use prepainted minis? I don't think that the reason that Conan might have been pushed back can have anything to do with the prepainting.

Maybe it's just because they're launching two new mini games next year (well one new and one revised) and that was enough for them?
