I've checked ten pages looking for comments on MgT Central Supply Catalog (CSC) 2e that I purchased and downloaded from the web site 0n 1/23/17 without success and apologize for starting a new topic thread.

Reading through the section on Law Enforcement and a failed Black Market using Streetwise I seem to being missing a step or two in the process.

So far here is what I think happens:

A failed Black Market purchase runs afoul of the local cops. To determine the cops response the Traveller rolls 2D deducting the Effect of the failed purchase and the world's law level.

A roll made on the Response Table's Check against the Traveller's Admin or Streetwise Skill which is successful means the are let off and failed roll moves to the Investigate stage.

This is where I seem to be missing how to proceed

Investigate: This results in a detective or bureaucrat probing deeper into the Traveller’s background. If the Traveller has a ship, it will be searched. The Traveller may be followed or have their communications tapped. They are also likely to be questioned closely.

How do we go from Investigate to Apprehended?

Thank you for the reply and the suggestion which makes sense, however the lack of instructions doe not fit the pattern established between the start of purchasing on the Black Market to the point of being investigated.

The slight issue is that how does the Traveller or Travellers determine if they successfully thwart the gum shoes investigation and keep out of prison, be exiled, or terminated.

Evening PDT,

I am still not sure how the Low Enforcement Investigate phase of a failed Black Market purchase on Central Supply Catalog (CSC) the Law Enforcement p. 6 works.

Looking at the instructions for determining Law Enforcement Response and Check instructions I believe that the Travellers makes another Admin or Streetwise check that if successful ends the investigation but probably not being kept under surveillance while they remain on the world and local space.

Does the above seem to be on the correct track?
