Low P-Rating

Hello, i'm new to these boards but i've been collecting and playing the B5 rpg since 1st ed. I have a question and y'all seem friendly enough, so i thought i'd ask your opinion:

On p103/104 of 2nd edition, the Telepath feat states that you have a P-Rating of 2d4-2, and that if your P-Rating is a 0, swap this feat for Latent Telepath.

Obviously this gives you a P-Rating between 0 and 6. Now, i've searched the feat section, the telepathy skill, the telepath calss and the chapter on telepathic abilities. I've searched these boards and checked the free downloads for an errata, but it seems there's no way at all to increase your P-Rating in 2nd ed.

I'm well aware of Telepathy in 1st ed, having played a Psi-Cop and a Minbari Telepath in seperate games, and the same prestige class has the same requirement of minimum P12, yet with the feat as printed theres no way to get into the class at all.

Am i missing something? Please help me!

Excellent, thankyou! I knew i must have missed something. That was a fast answer too...

Do many people play 2nd ed? There seems to be a lot of 1st ed discussion..

Its the only way to get a P12 short of physical enhancement.

The max roll on 2d4 is 8 minus 2 to get 6 max on the di roll. Add +6 to sacrifice a feat and you get a P12.

As I was informed previously, there is no way to bump up a P rating at this time other than perhaps Psi Corps or vorlon Enhancements.

You might also want to read the Psi Corps book for additional telepath information.
