On December 8th, Mongoose Publishing is throwing open its doors to hold an official tournament for A Call to Arms: Noble Armada. Lords of the Fading Suns is a yearly Noble Armada event that pits players against one another in a series of games to decide who is the greatest admiral in the known galaxy!

You can order a ticket and download the tournament pack from;

http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/miniatures/noble-armada/rulebooks/lordfadingsuns-tournament.html

Enter the Voucher Code 'ACTA' when you order to save yourself shipping costs!

We have a great range of scenarios planned and some awesome prizes (in the last tournament, we gave away over £250 worth of prizes!). Every participant will also receive a free miniature.

This is a great opportunity to meet and play with like-minded gamers, and everyone always has a great time at these events. The Mongoose store will be open with a few new goodies, and prizes will be given for the finest admirals at the event!

Lords of the Fading Suns 2012 will be held at Mongoose HQ in Swindon, UK on December 8th, and a map can be downloaded from;

Needless to say, to all of you who have ordered Fleets of the Fading Suns and/or any of the new fleets, you will have them in your hands within 2-3 weeks, ready for the tournament!

Well even if Fading suns gets to my FLGS in time I will be unable to attend due to Dec family commitments.

Good luck to everyone who does go though.

Just want to give people a prod about this - if everyone who has said they are coming actually turns up, then we will have a good tournament. But you do need to sign up for it first :)

Got some chaps from the local club turning up as well (at least two of them will have their eyes on the trophy as Steve won't be here this year :)), as well as Amy, one of our current interns. She has rapidly become an expert at Victory at Sea, and now looks forward to taking down you chaps in space!

Matt you should find a way for us USA guys to feel the Mongoose love since its a long swim to the Mongoose Headquarters. Maybe have an event at Gen Con or somewhere like that.

I've tired a couple times too buy the ticket and apply the ACTA coupon, but postage of £4 keeps being applied, am I doing anything wrong?

Are you entering the voucher code mentioned in the original post...?

Hi there,

Try again now (and remember to click on 'Apply' before proceeding past the Checkout page). You should be good now!

Sorted, when I logged in to proceed with purchase it was adding another tourny ticket to the order, did it as guest login, worked fine.

Less than a week to go, and the admirals have been getting their fleets ready!

If you want to join in on this event, there is still time - I mention this, as I know there have been some of you intending to come, but you have yet to sign up...

Halfway through the tournament at the moment, and the Kurgan(Ben Ribery) currently hold the top spot, with two fleet annihilations under their belt!

The two Vuldrok (Alan Buckmaster and Paul Eyles) met in the last round, and came up with a complete draw. And Ed Wheeler (Li Halan), has just earned himself a 20 point game, getting more points than he has in every previous tournament combined!

Results for the last round are just coming in. Greg (Li Halan) has just pulled out a 20 point victory over Paul (Vuldrok), which means Ben (kurgan) _must_ get at least 17 points in his last battle to win the tournament!
