Long range targetting upgrade for Narn

ok, this might have been answered before, apologies if it has.
you choose a weapon, it gains 50% range, at half dice. I have applied it to Mag guns before now, so um, 1 Ad stays 1ADat 22", lovely.
Anyhow, I was wondering how it would work on an E-Mine launcher.
does it
A) upgrade the standard launcher range to 45"
B) Upgrade the ability of ALL mines up by 50%, meaninf 15" for ship busters
C) can be applied to each mine type individually, so I upgrad SB's to 15", but everything else stays as standard?
D) None of the above ;-)
 
Well its the launchers your upgrading so Id say an extra 50% range on any varient you use. Personally I dont reckon its worth it for Shipbreakers as you lose alot of punch with the lessened attack dice.

true, but on the Dag Kar for example, the ship is so flimsy, it rarely has chance to fire the ship breakers, this "might" let me get a Salvo off!
hmm, pre errata. Saggi, HUll 5, lots of SAP precise missiles at 30", Dag Kar, Raid, Hull 4, lots of e-mines, that don't crit. . . .even at hull 4, the sagi is still arguably a better ship than the poor old Dag Kar :-( (except at fighter clearence, nothing clears the sky as quick as one of them!
 
First impression I'd say A or B.

however going by the letter of the rules for the upgrade, you round d own, so you'd have 0 AD (No mention of minimum 1 unlike Adaptive Armour)

Also, going by the letter of the rules, only the Standard, Ionic and Wide burst Emines would get the range upgrade, as the ranges of the Ship Breaker and Short Charge are explicitly stated as numbers not proportions of the standard launcher range.
