So far have run a couple of games using some Pathfinder modules for inspiration and have gone far enough to mix in historia rodentia, well okay a Valkyr and a war chariot being operated by a pair of Meercats based on a certain series of TV adverts except the character personalities have been swapped around...
Anyway going to go back to this at some point, currently they're on their way to an ominous skull shaped mountain-like hill to rescue some captive villagers including the girlfriend of a PC knowing that a powerful sorceror lies in wait.
Have that particular adventure thought out and a number of options of where to go from there one of which eventually explores a mysterious island at the heart of the massive Thames that separates Ritia from the Southern Islands and one of the subplots is a village named Tarmsen which is rules by a theocracy (think original Beastmaster movie) whom have had a hand in some of the problems faced by the village the PCs are based at.
There is a noble rank up for grabs and the village of Tarmsen has made several attempts to secure this position of power that turns the area into a Barony however during the first couple of adventures the PCs have discovered a Duchy is up for grabs and a sizeable army to back up their claim if they succeed.
Looking at having another Baron getting involved to set up the climatic battle for the end of the first "season" which can lead further if I can keep them interested but I'd like a second opinion (or more) to avoid some of the pitfalls as I tend to go overboard on these things!
