thanks just really need counters for smoe of the other ships so less proxys etc, then would look far better.
thats the only downside to 2e as well, alot of work for me to update the whole thing

No biggie. So do I and it works just fine(just check the latest battle report I posted. Pics in there are from vassal map) :lol:

Works great and is pretty easy to use. Can be bit slow, especially in bigger battles, but if players trust each other so there's no need to methodically announce every single dice roll it runs pretty darned fast.

Vassal is Java based. If Mac OS can run Java (which I think it can) then it should be ok. Still not a proper computer though

You get the client there(java.sun.com for java run time enviroment if you don't have it already).

Add in client from this thread and off you go!

also once you get into it keep an eye out for threads like this as I try to keep Vassal updated with all the latest ships and fleets (altho sometimes with proxy counters).

The Centauri Balvarin is missing most of its special traits on the Stats including interceptors 2.

Balvarin by SFOS only has jump point. at least my SFOS. sure you not confusing it with Balvarix?

Hi Laranos, i'll play.
How about 5 Raid?.
Can we use the Combat Sim for working out results rather than dice rolling?
I have it installed and working. I'm excited about how much time it could save during games in Vassal ACTA.
It would require trust on your part, as i would have to type out the results from the Combat Sim into Vassal.
But you know i'm a fun gamer since we've played a few games.

Just a note.
Obsidian is working on a copy/paste modification to the Combat Sim.
So in the future i would be able to directly paste the results into Vassal. 8)
