Mongoose
All Alephtar Games products with the RuneQuest logo will go out of print at the end of December 2010, as required by Mongoose's new policy regarding RuneQuest. Both print and PDF editions of the products will become unavailable. Any leftovers will probably become prizes for conventions, but unless you are a regular guest of Castle Stahleck and use to GM there, I suggest you get your copy now.

The products that will become unavailable are:

Merrie England, the Age of Eleanor (by Simon "soltakss" Phipp)

Stupor Mundi, roleplaying in the world of Frederick II von Hohenstaufen (by Paolo "Rosen" Guccione)

We ship worldwide.

I already got both of them. 8)

So what is the new Mongoose policy regarding Runequest, out of curiosity? It seems you are changing camps, and moving to BRP, if I am not mistaken?

The policy? Oh, nothing to worry about. As Matt explained several times on these forums, you are no longer allowed to use the RuneQuest logo on products that exploit the OGL. It happened for D&D, too.

There is no "camp" to be changed. Both RuneQuest and BRP are very good games with an "old school" feel. We already have a Chaosium license and chose not to get a RuneQuest II one when the policy changed. Most of our products will be BRP in the future. Most but not all. We will make other books based on the OGL. Just not with the RuneQuest logo on them.

Sheesh! The file is empty. Drivethru sometimes screws files up, luckily it is the free product. I'll fix it this evening. In the meanwhile, you can get it for free from arima:
