Kit Bashed Prometheus Cruiser

I was up late last night and got to thinking I so mush liked the Reliant Model cruiser and so dislike the Prometheus, why not make them one and the same. So here it goes tell me what you think and we can go from there...

I used plastic card and small files to shape the pieces and then just trimmed down the Prometheus engines as they already laid down flat. I really like the look and can't wait to get started painting it.

This is a really good idea and I may be able to make one out of the two crap resin constitutions I have.

Nice looking model and nicely done with the plasticard.

One minor caveat - the SFU/ADB license is a funky thing and to avoid potential fussing from Paramont, it may be a better idea to link to it rather than have it on the forum page.

That said, I really want to see it painted and with decals. It will be awesome.

Nicely done. I too have a couple of heavy cruisers and strike cruisers which will not go together right from my resin fleet box.. This might be the way to go for me, too. Look forward to seeing the finished article.

Here she is with some paint , moving onto final details and clear coasting then putting on the decals and done...

An interesting design, well executed.

For more kit-bash ideas, you could take a look at the Starfleet Museum - plenty of alternative Federation, Klingon and Romulan designs, and even a ship named Amarillo. :)
