Ask the store if you can have a devoted RPG night, then design a handfull of one-shot games to get a group of players going (premade characters help), then ask if they want to do a full-blown game.

Don't give up...the RPGers are out there.

Sorry to hear that, and I know a bit of what you are going through.

My gaming is now down to a less than dozen sessions a year (players having their own familes to look after, others living too far away for regular games etc, etc), but I would still take those over not doing any at all.

All I can do is wish you luck in finding some decent games.
