Ok, Im a fan of the sst tv seires when i was young and was pissed that they cannciled it. Years latter i began buying the DVDs and saw al the episodes, from pluto to were they cut off the seris. So Ive been thinking why dosent mongoose ask sony to redo the serise with a nother compeny to produce it useing the conon that monggose made with the minis game. You know the pathfinders, skinny army and the fourth and such. Just a thought.

It probably would not have enough mainstream interest. That said if they did a one off dvd finishing the first series that would be cool. The CGI would sure as hell be a lot cheaper nowadays.
I think that if its story continuation you want just for mongoose's lines there is no point. First, the games mix all the mediums (book movie and CGI series), second, the rpg is being released from the start again sometime next year so that material will not be needed for a while, and third, it would not really matter for the miniature game.
But I agree in contrast to my second paragraph, closure would be nice.

Mongoose are liecenced for wargames products they wouldn't be able to do anything for a CGI series. Sony own the rights and unless it makes money it won't get made.
