Found this on Ebay, and thought it might come in handy if anyones thinking of a Japanese force (Couldnt find a JSDF thread)
1/66 which is 28mm near as damnit, and looks pretty nice too. From Tomica, who do some really cool stuff in 1/66 like street cleaners and futuristic japanese buses which could help cover a table.

Heres a pic of the actual thing so you can gauge the quality

I've seen it for $1.99 plus postage which seems typical for the range.

Ah, but where did you see it for $1.99? I wouldn't mind picking some of these up, but without a link or even the name of the vehicle it makes is hard to find.

After looking at the Tank Size thread that was just ressurected, I am thinking that they would be too small. BF: Evo is 30mm, which makes the scale 1:54. 1:66 makes it smaller than 25mm, a tad too small for my tastes. Still, thanks again for the link!

Np, i still want to wait and see the tanks and stuff in person, i put little faith in photos, unless they are made for the specific purpose of showing scale, and include rulers :lol:

Both the tanks and figures are scaled at 1:65.

I do believe they were honest, but from what we've seen so far I think they made a boo-boo somewhere. "Honest mistake" I guess

wait till minis come out, any thing you buy now will be oversized and you feel cheated.

just wait till propper minis please.

think 23-25mm and your be closer, 28mm is oversized considerably.

Do you mean the infantry will be in 23-25mm scale, rather than 30mm as advertised? I find that a bit hard to believe... I would be pleasantly surprised though!

I just got my Tomy JSDF toy in 1/66, and there's NO way it's even remotely near 25 or 28mm scale. It's about the size of a Matchbox SUV, maybe a little bigger. It's cool, I want one in a larger scale, but the 1/66 one is WAY, WAY too small.
