Jrusteli / Seshnel. Civilized or townsfolk ?

I guess it depends a lot on the specifics, but as a general, overarching direction, would you consider the god learner types as Civilized (as per the companion) or Townsfolk (as per the rulebook) as far as culture goes ?

I would tend to say Civilized. Justrela is the home of a powerful League of City States which became the Middle Sea Empire. However, many of the more rural areas of Seshnela would be described as townsfolk... at player or narrator discretion.

Hi,

We could do with a breakdown of all the cultures really like Genertela:Crucible of the Hero Wars did. Anyone fancy giving it a go?

Not all that difficult to do IMO. Although several cultures will overlap. And I'd rewrite some of them - like the Barbarian (which sounds more like Howard's Cimmerians than Greg's Orlanthi).

BTW, I do miss the RQ3 Initiate background experience or its equivalent. There ought to be something saying that an Orlanthi "Soldier" can automatically initiate to Orlanth Adventurous, Humakt, Urox, Vinga or Babs Gor, and so on.

I think this is all the sort of stuff that is being covered in the Players Guide to Glorantha coming next month.
