I voted for 'Who Cares', purely becuase Burger is a mini-gamer, rather than playing Vassal. Now if you can somehow get the two players to get a table, and really play. Then I'm up for watching that, and will let Burger use my Narn fleet.

Indeed I am not a vassal gamer, and I am away this weekend anyway.

If anyone local wants to play the ISA though, I'll be up for that!

Hell I am a mini gamer as well. bit unless we sponsor one or the other a trans atlantic flight the issue of getting them on a table is academic.

Davesaint is my LGS's best and brightest ISA player, so you've selected the best proxy we've got .... pity it seems that it won't happen.

I am unavailable this weekend, and likely next weekend. As burger states, I prefer to push minis around.

I get to spend a good portion of the weekend in a gym running a fencing tournament this weekend.

If someone wants to provide burger the ticket, I am sure I can provide him some beer. :wink: Of course, I could find a way for it to be lots of beer. :mrgreen:

However, if I can ever get the time to get vassel working, I might get a game in here or there.

I played one in the first vassal tourney, with a fine chap from ireland I believe, and let me tell you - 12 hour time differences bite.

Tell you what - we trust you guys, we hope you trust us to play it fairly. Why don't we both play it out with good local players with minis (WS vs Rongoths) take some pics and put some evidence down?

Burger and Reaverman can have a game and I can write it up...Shall we say 3 games:

3 Rongoths vs 3 WS in

a: 6 x 4 table - Call to Arms scenario, no terrain, no hyperspace
b: 6 x 4 table - Call to Arms scenario, terrain, no hyperspace
c: 6 x 4 table - Call to Arms scenario, no terrain, hyperspace (2 FAP)

Up for that guys ? - will need to take lots of pics and full battle reports of course so the forum can judge!

2 FAP in hyperspace is a bit much, when there's only 3 FAP's per side!
