This is not a thread complaining but I see that there does not seem to be much changing for the shadows, vorlons, and Drakh. I am a shadow player and I am not asking for the world here but show those races some love as well. I am unsure if you will or already have playested those races but if not lets do some things with those fleets as well. Again I am not complaing just wanting those fleets that perhaps arent the most played to get the same attention as say the Minabri, EA, or Centauri.

Considering that I, as a Dilgar player, saw several items about my fleet, I was surprised and pleased with this. I think this is a good sign to come; I expect that the Shadows will receive at least as much attention as the lesser-played Dilgar apparently did; and that's a good thing.

I hope you are correct I was just a little disappointed at not quite seeing the new vision that is being taken with the Shadows, Vorlons, and Drakh. I guess I just got my hopes up to high but hopefully more info will come as I pray they havent been playtested yet. Anyone know if they have or when they will be.

Given the massive changes underway, the Drakh impacts probably can't be understood until all the new weapon suites are confirmed. The balance on the GEG is a VERY touchy thing -- doing the Drakh last makes all the sense in the world. Beam used to be the bane of several Drakh ships; with that mitigated somewhat, a reassessment of the Drakh is fundamentally necessary.

I have heard rumors of a substitute to simulate the Dissipator system. If so, just like the Drakh, defensive balance is an EXTREMELY touchy subject, and they, too, should be done at the absolute last minute. Probably after the Drakh, acutally.

Vorlons were fundamentally affected by the Beam system change. I actually wouldn't mind keeping both beam mechanics, and leaving the old "Oh My God beam system" mechanic vs. Hull 4 for ancient beam systems. They're certainly nasty enough. Maybe some hybrid. But the Vorlons, now, vs Hull 4 ships, have a huge problem, and it'll take some very Jack-Hanley deep thoughts to consider, well, just what their indentity should be.
