How big is your wallet?

I have been playing the Lone Wolf RPG for some time now and I love how the equipment management is made. The fact that you can only have 10 backpack items and so on. But I was wondering, how much gold crowns can you put inside a coin pouch?

It depends...

Many RpG are considering 100 coins purses.
I prefer to say that a standard purse can contain 20 "big" coins (like GC) or 40 smaller coins.

Personnaly I don't like the "ten item" rule very much and I handle the equipement in a both simple and more accurate manner: common sense!

I’d say: x gold crowns where x is enough money to make 50 Gold Crowns. This is because it is the way it works in the gamebooks: Lunes are worth 4 times less than Crowns and you can put 4 times more in a pouch; consequently, they must be 4 times smaller and lighter. Same goes for Kikas, but now it is 10 times.

Well, I tried an experiment. In Canada, we have 1 dollar coin the size and shape of a medieval coin. Not the same weight of course, but in a marble size bag, I was able to put a 100 of those before it felt too heavy for a simple coin purse.
