HITHER COMES CONAN to Seattle - EMERALD CITY GAMEFEST??

Our group of organizers is looking for someone to run a CONAN game at the upcoming [link=wiki.rpg.net/index.php/Emerald_City_Gamefest] EMERALD CITY GAMEFEST[/link]. Several gamers associations in the Greater Seattle/Puget Sound area are joining forces to organize a day of games and meet-and-greet, free of charge, as part of [link=www.nationalgamesweek.net/]National Games Week[/link].
The event will be hosted on November 25 (Saturday following Thanksgiving) from 11 AM to 7 PM.

We identified a number of games we would really like to see represented. Since CONAN is my favorite Fantasy RPG setting, I was hoping someone in the area would be willing show everyone else!
I'm not available to GM or I'd run it... :x

There will be door prizes and loot! Check out our Web site and see if you can help us -- or at least come visit us that day.

Seattle?? Anyone? Seattle??

check out the web sites to sign up, or email me and I'll help... I would love to play!

Seattle!?! :?
Nah, too far away.
Besides, isn't that Wizards' territory?
They'd probably rub us out for being on their turf.

Well, I'm in the Seattle area (Tacoma, about 45 mi. south), and I can tell you all that this is an area that is game-happy. I probably shouldn't say this, but my girlfriend works works for Necromancers of the Northwest... Seriously!

And we both play games that are not WotC-affiliated all the time. She has some old college friends who live back east and they get online every Sunday and play a Hero system text-based game. No, I don't know why anyone would use Hero system (apparently, they didn't get enough math in school...), but you never can tell what folks are into. I mean, I'm an RQ and Traveller fan, after all.

In any event, I'd love to play in a Conan game. I've read the docs, but never played it, so it'd be a great opportunity.

Just wanted to encourage people to come if they're in or near Seattle. It should be lots of fun and we have all sorts of free stuff to give away.
