Over on the SJG forum I learned that there are major differences be-
tween the required engineering crews in the various Traveller versions.
Unfortunately I have already built a couple of installations for my new
setting as "ships without drives" with GURPS Starships and GURPS Star-
ports, and it seems that now their engineering crew numbers are far off
the numbers required by Mongoose Traveller.
Before I recalculate the crew numbers I would like to make sure that I
will not have to do it again once I have got a copy of High Guard.
So, according to the core rules 1 engineer is required for every 50 tons
of drives and power plant, regardless of the technology level.
Is this the same in High Guard, or do I need a different number of engi-
neers depending on the technology level - and, if so, how many do I
need for TL 9 technology ?
