Hex Bases?

Does anyone use hex bases on their Call to Arms Star Fleet miniatures?

I'm interested in using the miniatures for both Call to Arms and Federation Commander, and was wondering if anyone else has done this. If so, what is a good online source for the buying bases?

I love the omni stand as I can adjust the height of the mini's (if you buy different size posts) and use various shapes and sizes of bases. I have hex bases to play SFB and circles to play ACTA. There are two different kinds of mounts you can use on the mini itself. I take the time to use a drill press on my mini, to hide/better attach the mount, but don't make a mistake with the drilling or you can ruin the mini. Most people simply glue them on. My friend requested scribed lines on the bases and they accommodated him.

I second this. I really do not like the bases (and the ball joint) that came with the starline 2500. I'm using the corsec system for all of them. If I use the ships with ACTA I used the square bases with the etched lines - if I play other games with them I can use hex bases.
