Here's a start

It’s a bit grainy and rough, but here’s a start anyway. I don’t actually like the idea of camo for ships, but single grey is just a bit dull and not to photogenic either. So I just did up two in 3 tone grey for comparison.

There must be people out there with nicely painted fleets, lets see them.

I am liking the 3 tone grey camo. What ships are they? They look to be American cruisers and escort carriers, but can't tell for sure.

These are from Navwar, but Skytrex does similar ones.

I guess many people will want sources for models, paint schemes etc... maybe there should be a sticky with all these resources.

They are American. From left to right Independence Classlight carrier, Cleveland Class light cruiser, Atlanta Class light (anti-air) cruiser, Fletcher Class destroyer. In the background is a Royal Navy Dido Class light/anti-air Cruiser.

Well, I have seen the two scales used to give a sort of forced perspective, and it did look quite good actually...
