Hi guys,

We are opening our doors to SWAT, one of the local Swindon gaming clubs, on Saturday November 1st, and you are welcome to come along!

There will be a host of horror-related games, from RPGs to board games, going on from 1pm until. . . very, very late!

You don't have to bring anything with you, as all gaming materials will be supplied. Entry is free, but we'll be asking for £2 to cover food.

If you are interested, please drop me a line at msprange@mongoosepublishing.com, so we know how many people will be wanting to eat.

If nothing else, it will be a fun way to spend a Satruday night!

we are also running any other games with horror/halloween type themes:
bloodbowl with evil and undead teams, WHFB against undead or chaos if anyone has it. munchkin bites and other such card games.
basically if a game has some sort of undead/monsters on one side then it fits in.

i thought cthulhutech was a mongoose game but seems catalyst game labs is publishing now.

It was, emphasis was, Flaming Cobra had it for a while but has switched publishers to Wildfire.

Glad I could clear it up for you.

I just picked up the Catalyst copies today as a matter of fact, seem thinner than the Mongoose copies, but with the same page count.

CBT site???

So do we have a good list of what's going on?

Matt, you mentioned something of a horror RPG on a spaceship. Something like Event Horizon or Alien or something else?

Either way, count me in.

Though I will have to leave for the last train.

See you all on Saturday, anyone fancy meeting up for lunch beforehand? The chippie across the road is rather good.

Give me a shout, I might join you - I recommend their huge Yorkshire pud with lashings of beef and gravy inside. . .

was quite an enjoyable day with many differant types of games ranging from scary to whacky.
my main remembrance of the day though i think will be LBH and co chasing me as dracula with LBH determined that i was in eastern europe keeping his whole group searching out of the way places whilst i was wandering around paris and edinburgh :D

YEs, thanks to all for a great day, especially to Pete of SWAT for the lift back to Bristol, I take back everything I ever said about MX-5s

One mistake, I made one mistake, and yo slip past us Katadder, I'll get you next time.

Unfortunately that wasn't the daftest thing I did. I left behind some important belongings by mistake when I was repacking my bag after picking up some RPG books. Matt if you're reading this, I sent you an email (actually 2 emails, I realised I'd left something else behind later) if you could find the offending items and post them to me I'd appreciate it and obviously reimburse costs.

Hope everyone else had a good day and didn't leave anything behind.
