Gravity Well Movement

Is the movement due to the effect of a gravity well Manditory? It says in the Revised rules that it is automatic.

Regarding the 1/45 turn from gravity well movement:
Is there a minimum distance that must be moved before you gain the turn?

Are fighters and SM ships restricted to only a 45 degree change of facing due to gravity well movement.

Due fighters/aux craft actually get gravity well movement?

By Manditory he means must you take the full distance allowed. Came up in a game last night.

From rereading the rulebook, the extra movement is fixed, you must move the stated distance.

Thre up to 45 degree turn can be made at any point during the extra movement.

I'd say SM ships are restricted to only a further 45 degree change of facing, but since they can be at anyfacing they like before the extra movement is started it doesn't matter does it?

As for fighters, they don't get the speed boost as they are not 'ships' they are aux craft.
