Grav-Ball Leagues

I was wondering about Grav-Ball in Traveller. A bit of research into the game showed me that it was created by FASA, but never really an official part of Traveller, or am I wrong?

Anyway, thinking of using it as a bit of background colour for my campaign. Does anyone happen to know the rules of Grav-Ball, or even what sort of game it was, number of players per side, any "official" teams, etc?

Boardgame Geek has a lot of info on obscure games: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/5876/grav-ball

And a league of teams: http://home.earthlink.net/~hrdina/igba/

I have Grav-ball but never remember it crossing officially but it, as with many non-Traveller scifi games, could easily be integrated in by referees and players. The rule book is only 12 pages. I'm sure old Grav-ball player would love to see Heartless Huey return! I'm not sure If I can describe it here for copyright reasons. If I can I'll do a summary rundown that can be converted to Traveller.

My other choice for FASA to Traveller conversion would be COMBOTS a game featuring military or gladiatorial war machines would be one heck of a media entertainment event on higher tech worlds. They are about 6 meters tall with interchangeable weapons, shields, propulsion and maneuver systems and miscellaneous components. Amazes me thought Travellers don't experience combat robot areas more often.

Quiddich - anti-grav broomsticks and AI balls.

For Quiddich, how about you just play it in Zero-G (say aboard a space station). The brooms have small thruster built into them and the various balls are drones...
