That's what I'd expect the "Non-Cryo Low-Berth" to be...
Seriously though... I view passage on a ship to be akin to a ferry, train or air-liner today - you want to get from A to B - you have three choices - the bare basics, some decent luxury or to enter the Low-Berth Lottery... either way, it's a means to an end, not necessarily an adventure in itself like a luxury liner would be.

Especially true when you are going via Tramps. But, seriously. Give passengers Fast Drug and toss them in one of these. Cr200/dose and FAR less dangerous than a LB...
