Good Celtic Minis for Slaine

I have been trying to find some great looking minis to use for Slaine. I know there are a few actual Slaine minis but I am looking at more your standard rank and troop style so you could create massive clansmen battles. I like to use minis sometimes of my games and I think this game could really be enhanced with some nice terrain and minis for some added effect.

Anyone know of any companies that have a nice variety of minis for this? I looked at Wargames Foundry stuff for animals and what not but wondering if there are other companies out there?

Hi there,
All the Gael miniatures from Urban Mammoth are ideal for Slane, especially seeing as Celtos was very much inspired by the comic and John Robertsons Celtic roots (CEO of Urban Mammoth).

Some excellent miniatures there that would be ideal for roleplaying or even creating your own Slaine game.

You also could try miniatures for Confrontation (from Rackham) - Sessair Barbarians and Drune Barbarians, or for Chronopia (from Excelsior Entertainment) - Sons of Chronos.

Chronopia has some excellent miniatures in its range, again though a lot of them came from a time when John Robertson was in charge of Target (before it went bust and the license was picked up by Excelsior). Check them out folks.

You can find them at New Wave Games site. Some look pretty cool. BTW - they are Sons of Kronos, not Chronos, sorry for the mistake in my previous post.

hehe yeh...

now i have to warn you about some of the rackham stuff... alot of it you have to glue together, and on top of that, the moldings arent always the best, so sometimes you may have to shave off parts of the mini to make it fit right.
