Gogorma - Censorship or interpretation?

I just revisited CoG1 only to notice that Gogorma, she of the two mouths has spawned mouths in her hands?!? :shock:

It may be an attempt to make a more acceptable Demonic Goddess of female retribution, :? but in the old days her spell "Two Mouths" was described as "effectively rendering the target immune to rape". Now I'm no biology major, but even I could work out where the second mouth was.
Has somebody missed the obvious or were they just trying to avoid offending anyone? Answers on a postcard please.

In case anyone is confused, Gorgorma was a terrible Earth Goddess, not a nice person to know at all, who had a toothed vagina, all the better to chop off invading organs. Hence the Two Mouths and Immune to Rape.

She used to give the spell Second Mouth to other less fortunate earth cults, thus enabling their cultists to make a second mouth and go munchety-crunchety on those nasty men.

Giving her a mouth on each hand makes her Three-Mouthed, surely. Chalk one up to Non-Offended-Sensibilities and one to Confusing Names.

Now that broos are nasty beastmen who eat people, Gorgorma has mouths on her hands and Uleria is a jolly nice goddess who wants people to be nice to each other, are we in danger of censoring those aspects of Glorantha that might offend kiddywinks and preachers? They'll be saying that Genert had one wife, next, and didn't take his mother/sisters/daughters/granddaughters as wives.

Second Mouth, along with the sex-oriented Uleria spells, which are of long standing Gloranthan tradition, were in the original ms. I'll have to go and check up on the Thed write-up though...

It is my understanding that Gorgorma never provided Second Mouth as an associated spell. To warp ones fertility in such a fashion pretty much involved you giving up on the 'good goddesses' permanently.

Knowing of the broo's morality wouldn't it be wiser to also grant a third mouth or did the goddess exclude by omission the proliferous ways of chaos? :roll:

In a recent session, an unnaturally large Minotaur was approaching the party as we were buy polishing off some lesser bad guys. One party member was apart from the combat, saw him coming, exclaimed "It's huge!" before being hit in the 7 with a rock thrown by said minotaur.

Party members glance over his way to see what the problem is to see him clutching his groin, figure he's boasting at a rather inappropriate time and go back to their skirmishing.
